What does it mean to be well?

How do we define wellness?  It's a holistic concept, with components of health.  But it also includes our emotional state, our resilience and even our spiritual state.

Living in wellness means living with purpose.  It's a conscious way of moving through the world and deliberately aligning our choices with our own unique values.  It means having a personally satisfying, balanced and joyful life.

The good life is a process, not a state of being.  It is a direction not a destination.

It is possible to live in wellness, even when we are ill or suffering the normal effects of life.  It's choosing how to face things and living in such a way that we're moving in the direction we wish to go.  It's choosing positive behaviours more often and not wasting our physical, emotional or spiritual energy on things that really don't matter to us.  Sometimes, all it takes is a little clarification of what we really want.
